The moment everyone has been working and waiting for - the first round of the inaugural V8SuperTourer series.
Kicking off at Hampton Downs is a poignant moment that melds a brand new race series to New Zealand's newest race circuit.
Where the first V8SuperTourer tested in May 2011, the multiplying to 16 cars for the opening round is only the beginning for the drivers, who have three races on the programme to decide the initial series leader.
